Is your Arris Router behaving abnormally as of late? Are you facing issues while accessing the internet as well? If that is the case, you will have to get inside the router’s settings to check if everything is OK. To access the settings, make sure you have the correct Arris router login details. You can find the login details on the router itself, but if you have changed the credentials in the past, you will have to add those in the correct fields.
If you are aware of the router’s login details yet unable to log in successfully, you won’t be able to tweak the settings. Now, you have only one option left, i.e., reset your Arris Router because your router’s proper functioning can only be restored if you roll back its settings to factory defaults. Doing so will let you access the router’s web interface along with enjoying fast and seamless internet as well. When it comes to resetting the Arris router, you have two ways to go about the process.
Note – Resetting your router to factory defaults will wipe all your device’s settings. You will have to reconfigure network settings such as your network’s name and password.
Use the ‘Reset’ button to reset the router.
You can easily reset the router using the ‘Reset’ button. You can quickly locate the ‘Reset’ button on the router, as it is present on the device’s back. In case you are unable to find the ‘Reset’ button, you can search on the web for the router model you are using. You won’t find any issue while resetting the router.
After you locate the button, press and hold the ‘Reset’ button for at least 15 seconds, the switch is a bit recessed, so you will have to use a pointed object such as a paperclip or pin to press the button.
Please wait until the reset process happens, as it will take a few minutes.
